Coffs Harbour - Happy New Year 2017

It's been awhile since I last posted. Last year was a busy year for me. Finishing the research  and writing of my Thesis, which I am hoping to have published in the next few months. Also due to an accident I have had to undergo shoulder surgery just before Christmas. However, it is with great pleasure two weeks down the track I am able to type with one hand :). I know I need to be patient for the next couple of months to allow the healing process (and a lot of physiotherapy and TLC) to do it's thing.

So this a very short post just to say Happy New Year 2017 and I look forward to getting back into the swing of things and keeping you posted about interesting places to see and enjoy in and around Coffs Harbour.

Till next I write :)

Coffs Harbour - What's this lurking in our waters?

If you are a regular reader of my blog you probably have guessed that I love Coffs Harbour. Sundays are special as I get time to walk the beaches, markets, and much more. Like most people Sunday is my day of rest when I can take my time and stop and chat to people along the way.

Happy Valentine's Day from Coffs Harbour

  Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

Well I have been home just over a week now and apart from getting over jet lag and also rushing off to spend a day at Southern Cross University in Lismore; it’s great to be back.

Besides going for my usual walks this past week has been very busy planning and organizing for a very busy rest of the year.  Therefore, my posts will be sent out spasmodically or when time permits.
Today being such a beautiful day I just wanted to say “Hi” to you all and share these pics of beautiful Coffs Harbour that I have taken in the last few days.

Wherever you are I hope today is filled with much joy and happiness.

Until next I write. x

Coffs Harbour to Amsterdam

Guess where I am?

I am currently in Amsterdam, The Netherlands where the current daily temperatures average about 7 Celsius.  A lot different to our very comfortable temperatures on the Coffs Coast. I am here to visit my 87 year young Mum for the next 3 weeks before starting a very busy year ahead with work and also completing a Thesis. My Mum lives about 2 hours from Amsterdam Schiphol airport so I decided to stay the day and night in Amsterdam before taking the train to knock on Mums door in time for Sunday lunch.
